There is rarely anything more personal than art. Especially commissioned art.

And each home is as unique as the people that live there. Which is why commissions are something Niki welcomes and gets excited by. It allows her to truly connect with her clients, and visualize the space before she begins painting. She can see how natural light shines, or doesn’t shine, in the room, which determines the types of paints she will choose. The story the space itself tells. The story her clients tell of how they live. Whether you’re an interior designer, or the client direct, the entire experience, from beginning to end, will exceed your expectations.

Niki estimates that about 80% of the art she creates is commission work.

Over the years, she has developed a system that allows her to really get inside the minds of her clients so she can understand what they’re wanting their art to convey, even when they may not be able to fully articulate it themselves from the onset. Through a series of fun questions, Niki will guide the process until everyone is clear on what the desired outcome is.

From size, color palette, which mediums and substrates, whether you want one large piece, or an installation of multiple smaller pieces, together you will dream up the best solution for your home or business.

She always says her favorite part of commissions is watching her clients’ faces light up when the art is finally installed in their homes. In fact, she’s happiest when her clients cry tears of joy, which happens more often than not.
